Happy Valentine's DayI'm still working on finishing up my 3rd and 4th Children's book. I have all illustrations finished on #3 and almost
completed on #4 - now it just means scanning and making them look pretty in the computer. I'm busy working during the day
at David Gersten's office, and spend my evenings at NEWSical. Tonight is Thursday which is my "night off" so I will
go home and hopefully be able to do some book work. Valentine's Day was lovely. I got to spend the evening with Wyatt
by surprising him with a hotel stay. I think he might have known, but he acted surprised anyway. I had a good audition
yesterday and am on hold for the part in a commercial. Hmmm, maybe I can still call myself an actor :o)

Busy Busy BusyThis has been a crazy exciting couple of months since November. My mother approached me and said she had written a children's
story and wanted me to try my hand at illustrating. Once I completed the first book, my aunt sent me two more scripts to illustrate.
I am now working on my fourth book and LOVING it! Who knew. I'm also working 8 shows a week backstage for "NEWSical
the Musical" at the 47th Street Theatre. And working a few days a week at David Gersten & Associates. Two weeks ago
I coordinated a reading for the new musical "Wanda's World" at John Jay College, which turned out to be a huge success,
over 800 people attended. The days are too short right now, as I'm finding it hard to fit everything into my days that
I need to get done. Plus I just joined a new gym and my goal is to go at least 3 times a week.

HalloweenSo based on the last dated blog post, I'm not doing so hot as to keep it updated. We just had a great Halloween. Dressing
up is always a highlight. But I will say I had a blast during the day sitting outside, carving pumpkins and passing out candy
to the neighborhood kids. And yes, I dressed my dogs up. My PitBull I dressed as Optimus Prime from Transformers and there
was a (real) little girl dressed up as Bumblebee, so we made them take a picture together. All in all it was a fun successful
holiday... Is it Christmas yet? That's my favorite. I was ready on Nov 1st to start putting up decorations, but Wyatt said
I should wait just a little longer.

Show ReviewThe Thief went extremely well! The music is amazing and the performers did a great job. It was the first time that the
music, the band, and performers were all put together and the sound was fantastic. Yesterday the reading for "The Boy
in the Bathroom" had two presentations at New World Stages. It was also a success. Tonight I am going to
see "The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side" for the second time. Trying to stir up word of mouth because this show
definitely deserves a sold out crowd every night. The writing and performance is some of the best theatre I've seen in a long
time.

The Thief RehearsalsToday starts the first day of rehearsals for a presentation of the new musical The Thief. It should be fun. I'm coordinating
the reading so today was an early morning of copying off last minute changes to music, reconfirming the breakfast catering,
and getting to the studio early enough to set up before the cast and crew arrive.

Back in NYThe summer was amazing. I got back from Eagles Mere, PA on Saturday at 4:00pm, at 5:30pm we had a NY ETC reunion at the
"Shake Shack" and then went to watch Larry Simon play guitar at Lincoln Center. Then Sunday I went to a wedding
in NJ. I finally got to sleep yesterday... and clean, do laundry, unpack, etc. My Martian job is a little shaky
right now, due to some projects falling through and times being uncertain I will be doing a few things here and there for
them and crossing my fingers that something else gets lined up in the near future. Wyatt leaves me in a few days
for his annual "Guys Weekend", hopefully this year wont have another medical bill attached to it :o)

One More WeekI'm getting excited for ETC. I leave next Monday. I was freaking out a little last week because I felt like I had way too
much to do before I left, and was running out of time. But, I was able to get two weeks worth of lesson plans figured out,
the whole show roughly blocked, and the children's program outlined. I feel good. Now I have to think about packing. Wyatt
is gone for 4 days. He is up in Albany filming his next movie. He gets to stay in his own cottage on a lake... I'm a little
jealous. Katie & Ned (Brother & Sister in law) came to visit over the weekend. I haven't walked around New York
that much in a very long time. We did Coney Island, Central Park, Restaurant Row, saw Naked Boys Singing and Toxic. It
was a good weekend.

R & G Are... Girls?Well it looks like "R & G Are Dead" (See Director Page) is going to be an all girl cast. I'm going to spend
my weekend out in my backyard with some sort of "summer drink" and a lawn chair and figure out how many roles I
can double up on for the show. The weather is beautiful out right now, making it hard to finish up the day at the office.

Memorial WeekendThis week has been very quiet around the office. I've been able to focus most of my time on Mother Load. Sunday I went
to a Marriage Equality rally. The cast of Hair sang a few songs and both Bloomberg and Patterson spoke. They blocked off two
streets and it was packed with people. Trying to figure out what we're going to do for Memorial Weekend. I get Friday
and Monday off. I'm trying to talk Wyatt into going camping... we'll see.

Long WeekendIt was a good week. I spent all my office hours concentrating on the Mother Load tour for next season. I think we're going
to set up all the free web advertising sites and see if that sparks more interest. Going to go for Facebook, Twitter, MySpace...
uh, I don't know what else is out there, but those are the main three. I signed myself up for Twitter today... I don't
really get it. It's like Facebook, but without all the fun stuff like pictures and video. But maybe you have to "twitter"
a lot to get what all the fuss is about. I emailed some more ideas to the set designer for this summer's "R&G"
production, and I'm now halfway through reading the script for the 4 time. It's hard to get a picture of who is doing what
when I don't know how many performers I'm going to have. I think the most that are on stage at the same time (that I can get
away with) is 6. So, hopefully I have at least that. I get to take off around 3 today and have a nice long weekend.
This is the first full weekend off in almost 4 months. (I'm very excited)

May 11th 2009Last night was the closing night of "ROOMS a Rock Romance". The final performance was at 7:00pm and then we gathered
in the TONY Lounge for pizza and drinks. It was a great group to work with. This next week will be the load out and restoring
of Stage 4, and the beginning process of actually "closing out the show" here in the office. I have
been doing a little prep work for ETC this summer. I will be teaching improvisational theatre and directing "Rosencrantz
& Guildenstern Are Dead". I just emailed in the sides for the audition packet. Auditions take place in the first
couple days of the students arriving, so it's nice if they can prepare a little before arriving.
